Optional fit for an eligible product store

Help people find the products that support your work.

A nonprofit with an eligible store may be able to advertise physical products using Shopping. We first assess the catalog, checkout and fulfillment responsibilities, then agree whether campaign and store work fits the scope.

Separate paid campaign scope

Shopping uses a separate paid advertising budget and is not funded by the Ad Grants credit. Product-store and Merchant Center work require a separate fit and scope review.

The campaign, made visible

One illustrative nonprofit campaign. The example is not a promise of placement, eligibility or results.

Illustrative mission-related shop

An accurate product photo, title, current price and store identity.

Real product · actual price · clear delivery and returns

The goal
Sell an eligible reusable bottle through a wildlife charity’s online shop.
The destination
The matching product page with availability, delivery details and checkout.
The action to verify
Verify completed orders and refunds; calculate costs before describing money available for the mission.

Where and why

Choose the format for a defined job.

Where ads may appear

  • Eligible product listings on Google surfaces supported by the selected Shopping or retail campaign.
  • The ad uses product information from Merchant Center, such as an image, title, price and store name.

When it can fit

  • An operating store with eligible products, accurate stock and a working checkout.
  • A team that can fulfill orders and handle returns.
  • A reason product sales support the mission after advertising and delivery costs.

What needs to be ready

  • An eligible product catalog and Merchant Center connected to a paid Google Ads account.
  • Accurate product images, prices, availability and landing pages.
  • Working checkout, shipping and returns information, plus a responsible fulfillment team.
  • Order measurement, paid budget and an agreed campaign and store-work scope.

What we evaluate

  • Product eligibility issues, spending and completed orders.
  • Order revenue checked against receipts, refunds and cancellations.
  • Advertising, product and delivery costs before assessing contribution to the mission.

Plan with these limits in view.

  • Shopping is a product-listing format; donation requests are not a substitute for an eligible product catalog.
  • Google restricts services and event-ticket listings; product eligibility needs review.
  • Shopping, new store builds and catalog maintenance are not automatic inclusions in core grant management.

Campaign availability and policy can change. Google’s current Ad Grants campaign guide explains Search, Performance Max and grant inventory limits.

Before you choose

Questions about google shopping ads for nonprofits.

Is Shopping suitable for every nonprofit?

No. It may fit an eligible product store. An organization focused on service registrations or donations may need a different campaign and destination.

Can a donation or event ticket be listed as a product?

Do not assume so. Merchant Center’s content rules restrict services and event tickets. We check the actual offer before proposing a product feed.

Will 501PPC build our store as part of grant management?

A store build is separate from core grant management. We assess the store, catalog, fulfillment and campaign needs and agree responsibilities before proposing work.

Answer a relevant search

Google Search Ads for Nonprofits

A parent searching for swim lessons needs a class they can understand and join. We plan Search ads around the program, the area you serve and a page that makes the next step clear.

Automation guided by a useful goal

Performance Max for Nonprofits

Performance Max combines approved text, images and video and automates delivery toward a selected action. We check what that action means, which pages can receive visitors and whether the reported results match your team’s records.

An audience approach that needs review

Google Remarketing Ads for Nonprofits

Remarketing can reach eligible people who previously engaged with your website or app. Before proposing it, we review the cause, the page, consent and audience rules. A visitor list is not appropriate for every nonprofit or program.

Nonprofit fundraising

Donation Marketing for Nonprofits

Someone searching for a local cause may be ready to help. A relevant Google ad can bring them to a donation page that explains your work, how gifts support it and how to give. The useful result is a completed gift, followed by the care your nonprofit gives each donor.

Nonprofit events

Event Marketing for Nonprofits

Your event needs people who understand what it is, when it happens and why they should take part. Google advertising can connect a relevant search with a page that answers those questions and leads to a completed registration or ticket purchase.

Nonprofit programs

Program Marketing for Nonprofits

A family looking for a class needs answers before it can register: who the program is for, where it runs, what it costs and whether places are available. Google advertising can connect that search with a specific program page and a clear next step.

Volunteer participation

Volunteer Recruitment for Nonprofits

People who want to help need to know what the work involves and whether they can do it. A relevant Google ad can lead to a volunteer page with real roles, schedules and requirements, then an application your team is prepared to review.

Tell us the program or cause, the people you want to reach, your grant status and what your team can follow through on. We’ll discuss the campaign fit, the work required and the right support.
